Ball Mardi
Ball Mardi

Where can I find this traditional French Mardi Gras song?
The lyrics I can remember are like:
……….au ball! Au ball masque…….Elle ne peux pas…..de danser danser danser danser!……..Devenir devenir devenir qui je suis…….J’embrasse qui je veux…….
There’s a lot more and names of various costumes (spiderman, napoleon, etc.) as well as descriptions of how the costumes are worked on all year long. I know it’s mostly sung in Nice, France because of the masked balls they have for Mardi Gras.
Can anyone help me find the name, the complete lyrics, or (this would be awesome!) an mp3 file of this song?
Thanks so much!
It’s from a band called “La compagnie créole” and the title is “Au bal masqué”
You can see a video at this link
